Bryan Boyle opened Boyle Equipment Company (BEC) in 1988 from an office in his Carbondale Colorado home. Prior to 1988 Bryan served as a sales rep for Southwest Flexible and Flexible Systems selling sewer cleaning and CCTV equipment throughout Colorado and Utah.
In 1989 Bryan recognized a need for local service support for his products and opened a service facility in north Denver. Operating out of an industrial strip mall, Bryan added Sewer Equipment Company of America and Guzzler Manufacturing to his product line. The company mission of offering superior local support for all product lines led to the steady growth of Boyle Equipment’s service presence.
A major turning point for BEC developed in the summer of 1990 when it was awarded distribution rights for Colorado and Wyoming from Vactor Manufacturing, the largest manufacturer of sewer and storm drain cleaning equipment in the world. The addition of Vactor to a steadily growing product line brought dramatic growth and also led to an increasing commitment to offer the best local support for the premiere manufacturer in the industry.
During this period three key additions to the Boyle staff came on board. Larry Bierbaum (“LB”) arrived with a long and extensive background in the automotive service industry including ownership of service and body repair businesses. In addition, Larry was, and is, a fixture in the auto racing community in Colorado who continues to build, own and drive race cars to this day as he serves as Boyle Equipment’s service manager.
Larry Johnson (“LJ”) started as a sales rep, eventually becoming a partner in Boyle Equipment and continues to oversee sales in the Denver Metro area as well as manage Boyle Equipment’s primary facility in Commerce City, CO.
Sallie Marion came to BEC as a secretary and now serves as office manager overseeing accounting and, along with LB and LJ, parts and accessories ordering and customer service.
Lance Petty began working full time for BEC in 1999. Lance brings over thirty years of experience in the heavy equipment industry and services key accounts throughout the state from Boyle Equipment’s main office as well as a home office in Colorado Springs.
Brian Loper joined the BEC team in 2003 as a service technician and quickly added shop foreman to his duties. With Brian, comes close to twenty years of experience with a wide variety of utility equipment.
Over the years the BEC team has forged a reputation that promoted steady growth to the point that we now operate out of the largest facility in Colorado devoted exclusively to servicing sewer and storm drain cleaning and inspection equipment. Our “best possible products” line up features products from Vactor Manufacturing, Cues, Sewer Equipment Company of America, Duke's Root Control, NozzTeq, StoneAge and other top quality infrastructure products, backing them all with “best local support.”
